Job Description: ERP Deployment Lead
Area: APAC_Transformation Project Mgmt
Report To: (APAC) ERP Business Lead
What you will do
Responsible for full life-cycle of ERP Convergency projects from planning and initiation to completion (go live in future ERP). Assists in the development of project/program plans across Enterprise. Apply Project/Program management methodology and appropriate project management framework for all projects’ activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, and opportunity and resource management activities). Assists respective ERP valuestream leads with business(and ERP) process review of system design and documentation and data readiness and conversion activities from legacy ERP system to future state ERP. Assists in continuous improvement activities and monitor completion of daily activities. Manages small to large jobs or multiple projects and focuses on removing roadblocks and flagging risks. Successfully oversee initiation, plan, execution and closing of all ERP project deliverables as committed, primarily focusing on regional ERP convergency projects within APAC (possibly EMEA region in future). Regularly report out to ERP Business Lead and Project Leadership Team/business and IT respective leaders.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Reports out progress regularly to Business Lead, other leaders in ERP Transformation team and Project team as required
● Manage (through matrix reporting) cross-functional project team members/teams with employees at various reporting levels as directed by Business Lead
● Use disciplined project management methodology to define scope, develop project plan, and execute projects that adhere to guidelines and deliver within cost and schedule.
● Accountable for driving specific aspects of a large regional ERP convergency programs with high complexity
● Responsible to interact with collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Teams) and action items assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis.
● Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
● Communications and Reviews: Responsible (matrix not direct reporting) for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and the Sub-process owners across valuestreams (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, RTR, Intercompany, Master Data teams IT etc); document project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
● Work in collaboration with individual contributors or cross-functional project members and leaders that may be geographically distributed.
● Train and assist in project planning, cost estimation and related scope control. Learn to assess, prioritize and mitigate project risks.
● Responsible for coordinating activities of Program team and back up Business Lead in case needed, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project/Program.
● Diagnose root causes of performance problems at the individual, team / project level and implement solutions, whether training-related or not.
● Serve as secondary contact (after ERP Business Lead) for regional ERP convergency project.

Skills Required
● 8 years of working with cross international teams, focus on processes and proven leadership expertise
● Experience in various valuestreams daily process activities (RTR – GL acct, month-end closing process, Intercompany acct / OTC / PTP/ Inventory/PTF)
● Previous experience with ERP rollouts – SAP ECC, iScala, Oracle, baan etc.
● At least 5 years’ experience in Program Management and finance areas
● Experience with IT/ERP solutions or larger scale multi-functional projects at managerial level
● A Hands-on and results-oriented approach
● Previous experience managing Data conversions- welcomed
● Demonstrated ability of influencing and executing organizational and mindset changes
● Excellent English – required /and Chinese or other APAC local language communication skills – advantage (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers; constructive and solution-oriented mindset.
● Using problem-solving/critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges
● Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Cultural adaptability. Able to work in and with a global team that is geographically distributed. Independent and innovative spirit. Flexible and responsiveness to input.
● Open minded and culturally sensitive; well-structured and self-drive work approach; innovation driven.
Education
● Academic – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer and Information Science, MBA and PMI Certification preferred - however not mandatory.
